Length overall for moorage purposes is 16' (with outboard motor up).

The Zodiac 500 Pro hull is of polyester/fiberglass construction. The tubes are made of PVC/Strongan material, and feature 5 watertight compartments. The fiberglass hull provides structure and rigidity while the inflatable tubes provide floatation and stability.

Bottom paint has recently been applied to the hull and tubes (Pettit Hydrocoat) below the waterline, and looks sharp.

The deck surface is white gelcoat. Horizontal surfaces are non-skid for safety. An aftermarket aluminum Stryker T-Top was installed to cover the center console helm station.

A 12 gallon gas tank (poly construction) is secured underneath the helm seat.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Accommodation

The center console helm's windshield provides shelter from wind and spray while underway and the custom aftermarket Stryker T-top addition offers shelter from the overhead sun while underway and precipitation while stationary. The T-Top provides a solid handhold while during pitches or rolls, and the helm station can be fully enclosed with a custom wrap-around canvas and clear vinyl enclosure.

The helm seat has two configurations (backed seat + elevated bench), and houses a storage locker which also contains the 12 gallon poly fuel tank.

The helm console is equipped with a Lowrance multifunction touch screen display for displaying chart plotter and sounder data, next to which rests a handheld Standard Horizon VHF radio in a charging cradle. Engine displays are located on the aft face of the console underneath the navigation electronics, and the engine controls are located to the starboard side of the console. The helm console features a storage compartment at its aft facing base with access to the battery, fire extinguisher, and a cup holder. Wiring is accessible through a hinged door on the forward facing side of the helm console. The forward side of the helm console has access to wiring and offers a small amount of storage.

On the foredeck a Stryker cooler is secured to the deck which offers seating and dry and/or cold storage depending on needs. A fair amount of additional storage is available in the anchor locker / foredeck storage locker.

Broker's Comments

This 2019 Zodiac Pro 500 is ready for work or adventure and includes a matched Karavan galvanized trailer. The Yamaha Four Stroke engine has only 128 hours and according to the seller has been serviced and maintained to manufacturer recommendations by the original owner since new.

The Zodiac Pro 500 can carry a surprising number of passengers. The boat is rated for up to 9 passengers, and the 70hp outboard provides plenty of power. At less than 1000 lbs (with motor and gear) this boat can be trailered with nearly any vehicle.

The center console with the Stryker T-Top is a nice addition, and a removable enclosure can be used to fully enclose the helm console to protect the skipped from the elements.

This boat could be used for recreational or commercial applications and would also serve well as a tender to a yacht or working boat.
