Broker's Comments
The Fisher 34 is one of the best known and highly regarded traditional Motor Sailors built in Britain. Our example here has been extensively refurbished from 2008 when major works totalling over £50,000 were completed. Since then items such as compass, GPS, fuel lift pump and manifold, batteries and windlass switches have been renewed as required. Anodes and antifouling treatment were done in 2018 and she is presently in commission and ready to sail. In far better condition than one might expect of a Fisher 34 from the late '70's.
NOTE: These were our comments made when we listed her and sold her in May 2019. She sold quickly and the description was accurate, HOWEVER, since then Lockdown has happened and her proud new owner has been unable to set foot aboard her for a whole year! A minor leak over her quarter berth has led to some internal damage to both her quarter berth and headlining in this area alone. This will require some attention from a new owner as this otherwise fine vessel deserves. Recent photos are available to show the extent of the damage.
