Broker's Comments
The Moody 31 is a very popular family cruising boat. The main advantage of this yacht is she is the bilge keel version making her perfect for drying harbours, sandy beaches, creek crawling and those less expensive drying moorings.
She is owned by an experienced yachtsman and has been well cared for and maintained with constant upgrades including:-
A new Seldon single line reefing system has been fitted so the mainsail can be reefed from the cockpit.
Recently the sails and canvas covers have been cleaned and checked with new windows fitted in the sprayhood.
New gas piping and regulator have been fitted to the new marine standard.
The fuel tank has been drained, cleaned and new fuel gauge and isolation valves fitted.
The engine has been fully serviced and a new stern shaft seal fitted and every season she is taken out of the water and re-antifouled, anodes changed and her hull polished.
She has an all over cockpit tent which increases the usable space for those inclement weather days and a multi positionable cockpit table which is easy to use. Below decks the forward cabin has 2 separate berths which can be converted to a double with an infill cushion. The main saloon has ample seating around the cabin table. The galley is on the port side with the chart table opposite. The heads is a decent size and there is an aft cabin with a double berth located starboard.
This boat has had little use over the last few years but is ready to sail away so don't hesitate to make an appointment to view.
