This Ranger 29 is a Gary Mull designed racing and/cruising boat that in reviewing data has a reputation as a good club racer with PHRF ratings in some regions of 184 with spinnaker. Her hull is one-piece hand laid fiberglass lamination. The 29 has a self bailing cockpit, long seats that could be serve as additional berths in good weather or just to get out and sleeping under the stars. She does show some signs of her age and wear but her deck and non-skid are clean and serviceable. Her auxiliary power is the classic Atomic 4. She has berths for 5 and good head room below, and also offers and enclosed head. Her current owner has updated her with a new GPS, VHF Radio, Handheld VHF, Stereo and Grill. In additions she shows newer updated upholstery. You have an opportunity to put in your finishing touches to meet your specs and she will be ready race and cruise to your delight. I did not have the opportunity to sail her but the builders describe the Ranger 29’s rig as being lofty and balanced, beamy in her day, with a moderate-displacement hull and high ballast–to-displacement ratio to achieve the famous Gary Mull handling characteristics: A very fast boat that sails on her bottom. You don’t see many of these 29s available so don’t miss this opportunity.
