Broker's Comments

The Sadler 26 followed on from the successful Sadler 25. Grp constructed with a one piece moulding to form the interior and a GRP hull with the space between the two filled with a closed-cell polyurethane form. This has created a rigid structure with a high level of thermal insulation. Added to that, they are filled with enough foam to keep her afloat in the event of being holed. Tests by the yachting media subsequently proved that not only was the yacht unsinkable but could also be sailed when flooded.

The Sadler 26 has a full length skeg, which not only results in the rudder being better protected but also provides excellent directional stability. Add this feature to the overall design you finish, with a yacht that is well balanced, responsive and a pleasure to sail either with crew or single handed.

The interior design has been well thought out and offers more space than her external appearance would suggest.

This particular Sadler 26 is very well presented and benefits from many upgrades during its current ownership. At the time of listing she had recently been lifted ashore and winterised, so not looking at her best and it is true that the hull is in need of a polish, something under consideration before she is relaunched. Her interior suggests that she has been well cared for and any required maintenance has been promptly attended to.

This is a great little all rounder, perfect boat for weekending or for the more adventurous, longer coastal or offshore cruise. This excellent example is worthy of consideration if looking for a boat of this size and capability.
