Broker's Comments
I stepped onboard this Sadler Starlight 39 on a crisp sunny day, I noticed straight away how easy she was to board this came from her slightly lower freeboard and width of side decks compared to other 40ft yachts I have boarded. Onboard she feels a very safe boat with good reports of seaworthiness. I would say as much performance cruiser as cruiser.
Three decent sized cabins gives lots of accommodation whether passage making or weekend cruising. The angled sinks in the galley layout is good providing what felt like more space to the saloon. She boasts a big saloon table making it easy to gather a number of crew.
She is a regular participant in the RORC series and Fastnet races, usually does 'Round the Island' (RTI) race.
She is a touch tired in areas of the interior wood but this could easily be your first tinkering job.
