Broker's Comments
Quality. Quality. Top Quality.
I think that about covers it.
If you are looking for a Finnsailor, you will probably know much more about these quite exceptional motor sailors than I do. Most people I have spoken to have followed individual boats as they have moved through the market over the years. It is rare that one can revel in the timelessness of truly excellent design. A 1977 yacht, but not dated at all. Some lovely touches – for example the way the companion hatch slides neatly sideways into its garage, the way the sink drainer allows you to put the crocks straight into the locker and they’ll still drain. Look at the nice wide walk-through to the aft cabin; check out the brilliant engine access.
There are up to nine berths if you want them, and they all look reasonably comfortable, none are crammed in at all.
The build quality is typical Scandinavian, belt and braces everywhere, but she still has smooth and elegant lines, and I am told they sail pretty well too. The owner of this boat has just carried out an extensive refurbishment and then brought her all the way home from Spain. You can imagine that single-handing all way you make sure everything works! New alternator, a complete engine overhaul, cleaned diesel tanks, upgraded electrical system, new batteries; the list goes on folks...
I suspect you may want to have a look at the sails and some of the running rigging, but that’s the fun part, so I know you won’t mind!
Come and see this lovely boat, an ideal liveaboard or long distance cruiser, she will keep you safe, keep you comfortable, keep you happy for many years to come!
