If you were a boat, which kind of boat would you be?
This week we are able to introduce three very different boats for sale that have had their asking prices reduced. Each boat has her own individual character and needs to be matched with the right skipper. As with all Boatshed boats we have an extensive slideshow of images for each boat for sale, so that you can really examine the boat inside and out.
This modern performance cruiser has looks that reflect the racing background of the designers. The twin wheels and open transom are the most obvious features; and although performance is a key design factor the Hanse 430 has also been built with cruising in mind. The stylish interior is very modern in design, and has all the features required for cruising in comfort.
Follow the link above to see that this one is very well equipped and well presented in clean well maintained condition.
Our broker Steve says, “This Classic Alan Buchanan Yawl is a beauty; there are not many boats that have the style and appeal of this one. She has also been maintained and looked after by her various owners one of whom was Jon Wainwright of "Only so Many Tides" fame. Not only does she look great she is also a fast seaworthy yacht this Gaff Rigged Yawl is capable of 7 plus knots - up to 9 knots, we are told, in perfect conditions.”
In recent years the engine has been replaced and various works completed on the hull and keel boats. The hull was also repainted in May of 2012 and the decks and coachroof the previous year. The photographs of her sailing past were taken at the time of listing this boat. Follow the link above to see that she really has a good set of sails and makes a very pretty site on the river.
We have a lot of history on this vessel; if we have got you interested feel free to call to discuss her in more detail.
The Storebro Biscay 31 is a classic Swedish Motor Cruiser and as you would expect from a quality Scandinavian boat builder they are built to a very good standard. They are quite similar to the Nimbus range of boats in both build quality and construction - no surprises there, the Storebro brand was owned by Nimbus for some years.
This particular boat looks in exceptional condition it is immaculate both inside and out, which can be seen in the photographs. The owner has completed some recent refurbishment and we are advised that all the new owner needs to do is just put her back in the water and away you go!
If you’d like to look around her before you travel check out Steve’s video: Storebro Biscay 31 now £29,000
Which one of these is your kind of boat? A performance boat, a beautiful classic or a motor cruiser?
