Solid simplicity and belt and braces. A Gardener 6L, a diesel generator for the 12v et 24v. A drip feed 8Kw Somy diesel stove provides cozy warmth to radiators and hot water. Hot water also from a 220v 120lt immersion heater or from a Vaillant instant gas heater !
Note that the boat engine and systems have not been much used the last 4 years and may need some "recommissioning".

MFV by Tyrrell of Arklow Ireland. 1 ½ inch Larch planking on 6x4 oak frames. Keel laid in 1952 commissioned in 1953 but very quickly decommissioned and returned to Tyrrell’s who converted her into a private yacht !

Cozy accommodation upgraded by the previous owner who is an experienced yachtsman and wooden boat enthusiast. The owners aft cabin has a large dressing room and oceans of storage having been adapted from three separate cabins. A second heads and shower was removed though all skin fittings are still in place and an "ensuite" could easily be envisaged ! Headroom varies between 1.9 and 1.8 on main deck and 1 .75 on the cabin deck. Main double 1.9 x 1.2 but easily made larger in both directions. Guest bed 1.25 reducing to 1.05 x 1.9
Super shaded aft deck and second "breakfast galley" in the saloon makes preparing the cocktail for guest a breeze.

MFV for sale in the south of France. Boatshed Midi Canals is offering this converted Tyrrell MFV for sale by donation to the Sail 4 Cancer charity. Our vendor bought the vessel through us in April 2014 and was almost immediately afflicted by some serious health issues and unable to either enjoy or even look after the boat properly. Now available for a symbolic price in the form of a donation to the Sail 4 Cancer charity.
