Solid timber insulated engine box with opening top in centre of cockpit.
2.2 Litre Volvo MD22 Diesel (Same engine as Perkins M50 and the later Rover diesels). Owner tells us starts first time and runs sweetly. Spares widely available.
Rudder increased in size by 50% to make her handle better.
Replaced the complete steering system with a new hydraulic one, and rebuilt the whole prop shaft/stern tube system in the last 3 years.

Very large working cockpit with comfortable stern seating/locker with cushion. Racks for rods etc under side decks. Large storage holds under strong timber floor panels.
