Broker's Comments

Designed by Kim Holman to get the best out of the racing rules then current, the Twister is a little boat with a big reputation for sailing extraordinarily well. As a result examples are much prized even now. First built all in wood, then in composite form with a wooden deck and coach-roof married to a GRP hull. Later models (of which this is an example) were built entirely of GRP, with a re-assuringly solid lay-up that brooked no economy in the use of material. No translucent hulls here! No longer made as a 28 footer, her bigger sister the Rustler 36, lives on, but you can have this one for a fraction of the price. The hull was moulded by Tyler and fitted out by Capistrano Yachts Ltd. She could use some tidying, and her electronics may need updating to suit modern tastes, but her wholesome sea-keeping virtues are all present and correct.
