Broker's Comments
The Sadler 34 was designed in 1983 as a bigger replacement for the Sadler 32. The result was a fast sea-worthy yacht with the rigid polyurethane foam between an inner and out moulding. This renders the hulls unsinkable as well as providing a large reduction in internal condensation.
This example is a model from 1985 with the deep fin keel – arguably the best keel option for those keen on performance. The boat has only had light use over the past couple of years over which time the current owners have undertaken a number of updates and improvements.
My first impressions were that this Sadler shows no signs of the usage she had had and her overall condition shows how well these yachts were built. She has also benefitted from the fitting of a new Bukh engine in 2003. The stern gland and shaft bearing were renewed in August 2017.
These yachts have a great pedigree: spacious, light and airy down below with great sailing performance yet still comfortable enough for long cruises.
The boat is currently on a mooring and available for viewing.
